Stuckey Learning Center is more than a childcare center, we're a trusted partner in your child’s early learning journey. With roots dating back to 1968, we’ve long been a part of the Alliance community, offering high-quality, affordable care to children ages 6 weeks to 5 years.
Licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services and accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), our programs meet the highest standards of care. We provide sliding fee options, full- and half-day programs, and wraparound support to ensure every family feels welcomed, seen, and supported. Whether you're a first-time parent or navigating life’s challenges, Stuckey is here to walk alongside you—with empathy, excellence, and a heart for every child.
We use the Creative Curriculum®, a research-based, developmentally appropriate program designed to support the whole child. Rooted in exploration, play, and meaningful relationships, this approach helps children build confidence, curiosity, and essential school-readiness skills.
Creative Curriculum aligns with our trauma-informed philosophy by creating predictable routines, encouraging emotional expression, and supporting each child’s individual learning style. Through hands-on activities, guided discovery, and intentional teaching, our educators nurture growth in language, literacy, math, science, social-emotional development, and more, all while keeping learning joyful and child-centered.
We embrace a Trauma-Informed approach to childcare, recognizing that past experiences can shape how children learn, behave, and relate to others. Our staff is trained to respond with empathy, patience, and consistency, creating a safe and supportive environment where all children feel seen, heard, and valued.
We focus on building strong, trusting relationships and use predictable routines and gentle guidance to help children feel secure. By understanding the impact of trauma, we can better support emotional development and resilience, giving every child the opportunity to thrive.
